JOIN THE CT CWRP
Join the other Corporate Partners of the CT CWRP in supporting wetlands restoration projects in Connecticut. Involvement is flexible in terms of the amount and type of contributions, with both small and large companies encouraged to participate. The scope and geographic locations of the CT CWRP projects are also variable, allowing Partners to become more involved in those projects that are best suited to the types of service they provide or to their physical location within the state.
As a Corporate Partner, you can achieve the following: Directly improve the environment
• Wetlands provide critical environmental functions (flood and storm damage reduction, water quality improvements, fish and wildlife habitat, food production, aesthetic value, etc.) • You can help reverse the historic trend of wetland degradation in Connecticut by participating in CT CWRP's wetlands restoration projects. Enhance your company's image • Partners are associated with highly visible projects with significant environmental benefits • Partners receive positive public recognition of participation through media coverage of projects, awards and other related events and through acknowledgement in fact sheets, web sites such as this one and other public outreach programs
Enhance your stakeholder relations • The process of selecting and implementing restoration projects provides partners the opportunity to develop relationships with federal and state agencies, non-governmental organizations, academia and others Network with other environmentally-conscious companies • Your involvement also provides the opportunity to develop relationships with other companies that share in the business hurdles you face each day and to identify other companies with which you would like to do business, based on your shared environmental ethics and professionalism
