Zemko Dam

The CTCWRP $20,000 grant to the Zemko Dam Removal Project, removed the last impediment to diadromous fish on the Eightmile River's east branch and restored diadromous fish passage to its full historic range in the area.
The project also restores and protects the area's natural stream channel, including wetland and riparian communities.
